Roller Coasters are for Amusement Parks

Updated: Aug 13, 2019

How we lose our weight matters.

If you have been following along with me, you know I don’t mean if you do Keto, or Jenny Craig or any other diet.

Those diets get weight off and then send you on your merry way.

But in way too many cases it doesn’t stay off.

And for just that reason, I don’t give my clients meal plans or tell them what to do for exercise.

Instead, we focus on losing weight from the inside out. We focus on changing more than just the number on the scale.

My clients lose their weight forever because everything shifts:

  • what they believe about themselves

  • what they think about their body

  • what they believe they are capable of

Because unless that happens, food still holds the power.

We all eat for reasons.

Most of us eat for emotional reasons.

That’s why it’s so important to work on upleveling more than just the food we eat as we lose our weight.

If we haven’t upleveled our life and we take away the food, eventually we get the body we want.

But we still have all the old thinking we always had.

So when we hear ourselves saying, ‘It won’t hurt, you lost all this weight, you’ve worked so hard.’, we eat a little.

We think, I’ve shelved my happiness for a while to lose the weight, but now I want my happiness back so we find ourselves eating more and more like we used to.

And back on the roller coaster we go.

I don’t want anyone to lose all their weight to then have to go through all this crap AGAIN.

Let’s just lose it in a way we like, in a way we can sustain, learn how to like ourselves through the process and do this for the LAST TIME!
